Volunteers are the heart of Northern
Virginia Sheltie Rescue. They are what makes a rescue successful.
There are many different ways you can help, depending upon your
availability, interests, and/or special skills. Opportunities
range from simply checking local newspapers for "free to
good home" ads for shelties, to opening your home to foster
a rescued Sheltie or providing fundraising, transportation, administrative
or advisory support. We have an urgent need for foster homes.
If you can open your heart and home to a homeless Sheltie, please
let us know. NVSR supports Sheltie rescue throughout the Commonwealth
of Virginia so volunteers are needed from all over the state.
