A. RESPOND to calls from POUND/SHELTER within miles of my home. I

E. Help to INTERVIEW & EDUCATE prospective ADOPTERS

talk to potential adopters on the phone, tell them about Shelties, answer questions, listen to them, take notes & report to Rescue.

invite potential adopters to my home to meet my own Shelties, then interview & educate (same as for phone).

take my own Sheltie to potential adopter's home, interview & discreetly evaluate home & fencing, take notes, miscellaneous.

do follow-up visits to new adopters, calling, visiting and helping them
learn more about Shelties.

 

F. TRANSPORTATION of dogs: max distance = miles

I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer activities for
NVSR, unless they are the result of NVSR's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
I will indemnify, defend and hold NVSR harmless from and against any claims, lawsuits,
injuries, damages, losses, costs, or expenses whatsoever, sustained by any companion
animal or any person in connection with my intentional misconduct or grossly negligent
performance of volunteer activities for NVSR, or my breech of NVSR's rules, regulations,
policies and programs. By submitting this application, and in consideration of this opportunity
